Lakeside Lumber is looking for a qualified and energetic person to join our team of drivers!
No CDL required.
Compensation: Drivers earn excellent money as well as medical, dental, vision, and retirement pkgs.
- Home every night.
- Great Hours Monday thru Friday.
- Overtime available.
- 40 hours PTO after 60 days.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be minimum of 18 years old.
- Clean driving record. Valid Drivers License
- 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Able to operate an automatic and manual transmission.
- Able to lift/carry up to 80 lbs.
- Able to read, understand, and follow laws, rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Knowledge of the Portland Metro area.
- Enjoy working in a team focused setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check orders for accuracy.
- Load, organize, and secure loads.
- Assist in keeping a clean and safe work place (Truck & Warehouse)
- Safely deliver orders via small flatbed truck.
- Complete daily vehicle reports.
- Call each customer prior to delivery to give them and estimated time for their delivery.
